Flash Alert Mar 31, 2020 Dear Savio, The stock market kicked off today on a more positive note. But we ended the day and the quarter back in negative territory. In fact, the first quarter was the Dow’s worst quarter since 1987. The late-afternoon selling was clearly disappointing. However, I was pleased to see that volatility is weakening. Now, we need to see selling volume dry up, too.  The reality is the market oscillations will likely continue until this nationwide “self-quarantine” is over. Until then, I don’t recommend buying growth stocks. So, I am holding off on sounding the “all-clear signal” for growth stocks until at least the second or third week of April.
