Dear Savio, Did you miss the Strategic Trader webinar last night? If so, be sure to check out the recording to hear how yesterday's selloff has -- and hasn't -- changed our trading strategy. Yesterday the S&P 500 dropped a little over 3.5%, which is large but not too concerning. In fact, a lot of the data is bullish. We may see a bit of buying the dip, but bearish drops usually aren't isolated. Going forward, we might see some oscillation between lower highs and the recent low. Questions? We can answer them even if you can't make it to tonight's presentation. We'd love to hear from you, so feel free to send us an email at feedback@investorplace.com.

Many of the things that caused yesterday's selloff -- rising COVID-19 infection rates, growing oil inventories, etc. -- aren't new. Earnings are down about 13.5%. Some oscillation is normal. The one silver lining in all this is the big boost to option premiums. We took a look at the CBOE S&P 500 Volatility Index (VIX), which jumped higher yesterday, and it's safe to say, volatility is high. Higher volatility should mean higher premiums. If you'd like the details about what we think caused the selloff, this week's webinar is a great place to start. We also reviewed all of our current open positions, so if you couldn't join us live, be sure to check out the recording.
